What makes a good teacher-check out Frazz
Teaching is important. Teaching is hard or confusing. I found a helpful model in the cartoon "Frazz". (comics.com)
Frazz works at an elementary school and is probably the best teacher there. However, he is actually just the janitor.
Yet he has raport with the students, listens to them, and shares openly with them.

side note...glad to see you're reading McLaren's "new kind of christian".... his second in the series (regardless of what you think of the first) is a must read (the story we find ourselves in)... it makes God So so so much bigger
